Title
Pilot Project: Removal of marine litter from Europe’s Four Regional Seas
Summary
MARELITT is an EU-funded project aiming at identifying good practices for the removal of litter and derelict fishing gear from the sea. It assesses marine litter removal projects in Europe’s four regional seas and supports seven organisations in setting up their marine litter removal or derelict fishing gear removal projects. The experience gained through this process was gathered in the MARELITT Toolkits containing: Toolkit-Marine litter retention and Toolkit-Derelict Fishing Gear Retrieval.
